DomiSpect is an all-in-one platform for residential and commercial inspection businesses: from the client's first call to the last corrective action, in one system. Here is who we are, what we build, and what we refuse to promise.
Why DomiSpect exists
A building inspector spends the day on site and the evening writing. In between, they juggle a reporting tool, a calendar, an e-signature tool, accounting software and an inbox that never talk to each other. Every address is retyped, every photo re-sorted, every finding rewritten.
DomiSpect starts from one idea: data goes in once, and the whole business uses it. The client, the property, the quote, the contract, the appointment, the field observations, the report, the invoice and the corrective actions live in the same file. On site, the inspector's dictation becomes structured observations they validate. Before signing, a full read-through shows what is missing.
Our guiding principle fits in four words: AI prepares, the inspector decides. DomiSpect does not write reports in place of a professional and never replaces their judgment. It prepares, proposes and checks; the inspector confirms and signs.
Who builds DomiSpect
DomiSpect is designed, built and operated in Quebec by the team at SoftmPower Canada, a Montreal software engineering and enterprise AI company. The product is built for the Quebec framework from day one: local inspectors' vocabulary, RBQ profile and the 2027 REIBH deadline, Law 25, GST and QST, with the interface, reports and emails in French and English.
DomiSpect is an independent product. It is not affiliated with the Régie du bâtiment du Québec (RBQ) or the Bureau de normalisation du Québec (BNQ), and no software is "approved" by these bodies. What DomiSpect does is equip your compliance: verified profile, pre-signature checks, Law 25 register, audit log.
What the platform covers
- Scheduling: a shared calendar linked to the client, the property, the assigned inspector and the signed contract.
- Residential and commercial: pre-purchase, pre-listing and preventive inspections; commercial projects by building, floor and zone.
- AI assistance: structured dictation (Domi), on-demand photo analysis (Domi Vision), on-device nameplate reading, full review before signing (Review AI).
- DomiSpect Offline: field capture with no network, sync when the signal returns.
- Report and signature: structured report, annotated photos, SHA-256 timestamped signature, immutable report.
- Client portal, GST/QST invoicing with online payment, corrective actions and re-inspection.
- Teams and roles, pre-signature checks, RBQ verification, Law 25 module, security.
Where we are
DomiSpect is in its launch phase. The platform is available as a trial — 14 days or 3 inspections, on your real files, with no credit card. The time savings shown on this site are benchmarks from interviews with Quebec inspectors, not yet production measurements: we explain how we intend to measure them. We also publish what DomiSpect does not have yet, because an inspector choosing software deserves a complete answer.
The name
DomiSpect combines domus, the house, and inspect. The logo — a roof above a magnifying lens — says the same thing: looking closely at a building. Not to be confused with DomuSpect, a Danish rental-report company with no connection to us.
