Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
DomiSpect ("we") operates the domispect.com website and the DomiSpect platform, an AI-assisted management system for residential and commercial inspection businesses. This policy describes how we collect, use, retain and protect personal information, in accordance with Quebec's Law 25 (the Act to modernize legislative provisions as regards the protection of personal information) and other applicable laws.
2. Information collected
Depending on how you use the site, we may collect: first and last name; professional contact details (email, phone, company, city); information provided in our forms (inspection volume, current software, needs); browsing data with your consent (see "Cookies").
If you use the platform, your business enters information about its own clients and files (contact details, addresses, photos, contracts, invoices) as well as the professional profile of its inspectors (RBQ certificate, insurance). Your business remains responsible for it; DomiSpect processes it on your behalf, with the measures described here.
3. Purposes
We use this information only to: respond to your requests (demo, trial, migration, contact); send you the communications you have consented to (newsletter, guides, invitations); provide and improve the service; meet our legal obligations.
4. Consent
We collect your consent clearly and separately for each purpose. You may withdraw your consent at any time by writing to us or via the unsubscribe link included in every communication.
5. Sharing with third parties and subcontractors
We do not sell your personal information and never share it with third parties for advertising purposes.
For the domispect.com site, we use: GitHub Pages (page hosting; the provider keeps technical connection logs); Web3Forms (routing of forms to our mailbox: the fields you enter pass through its servers, located outside Canada, before reaching us); Google Analytics 4 (audience measurement, only if you accept it in the banner; see "Cookies").
For the platform, we use: Supabase (database, files and authentication); Stripe (payments; we never receive your card number); Resend (transactional emails); Google Places (address autocompletion); Open-Meteo (weather frozen into the inspection file); Google and Microsoft (account sign-in, only if you choose that option); one or more AI model providers (processing of dictations, photos and report text submitted to AI assistance; their identity, country and the contractual terms governing the use of this content are being documented and will be stated here). Nameplate reading (OCR) runs on your device, with nothing sent to a third party.
These providers are bound by confidentiality agreements and may be located outside Quebec, notably in the United States. Before sharing personal information with them, we carry out the privacy impact assessment required by Law 25. The platform's hosting region is being confirmed; we will state it here as soon as it is verified.
6. Retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described, after which we destroy or anonymize it securely in accordance with our retention policy.
7. Your rights
You may request access to your personal information, its correction, its withdrawal or, where provided by law, its portability. Send any request to our Privacy Officer via the contact page. We will respond within the timelines set by law.
8. Security
We apply security measures proportional to the sensitivity of the information: encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, multi-factor authentication, logging and isolation between organizations. In the event of a privacy incident presenting a risk of serious harm, we will follow the notification process required by law. See also our Security page.
9. Cookies and data stored in your browser
The domispect.com site sets no advertising cookies, does no cross-site tracking and uses no technical cookies (there is no account or session on the site). Here is exactly what it stores in your browser:

Google Analytics loads only after you accept. We have disabled Google's advertising and demographic signals: no ad personalization, no cross-device tracking, no Google Ads link. If you decline, nothing loads and no cookie is set. If you change your mind, your Google Analytics cookies are deleted and the banner is shown again:
