Scheduling

Schedule your whole operation.

A shared calendar where every appointment is linked to the client, the property and the assigned inspector. The signed contract opens the field. Emails go out on their own. Nobody retypes an address.

Shared calendar · Assignment per inspection · Contract signed before the field · Automatic FR/EN emails

Planned — not available today: the availability, workload, capacity and conflicts view per inspector, and automatic appointment reminders to the client. No date.

The calendar

The calendar knows your operation.

An ordinary agenda knows a time and a place. The DomiSpect calendar knows the file.

Linked to the client

Name, email, history. The contract and the portal invitation go out with the right contact details, without anyone retyping them.

Linked to the property

The address, auto-completed when the property is created, appears identically on the quote, the contract, the inspection, the report and the invoice.

Linked to the assigned inspector

They see their inspection; field mode opens on the right file; the report will carry their name and their RBQ profile.

Linked to the contract

Until the CTR contract is signed, field mode stays closed (organization setting, on by default). The pre-signature locks →

The path

From appointment to field, with no re-entry

Five moments. The client and the address are entered once. Each step receives what the previous one produced.

1

The request comes in

The assistant creates the client and the property, or finds them if they already exist. The address auto-completes.

2

The quote goes out

SOU-0007, GST and QST calculated, public link sent to the client.

3

The contract goes out

CTR-0007, with fixed wording, signed by link. A SHA-256 fingerprint makes it immutable.

4

The appointment is set

The dispatcher picks the date and assigns the inspector. The appointment already carries the client, the property and the contract.

5

The field opens

In the morning, the inspector opens the file. Contract signed: field mode available. If not, they know before leaving.

The order of steps 2 to 4 can vary with your practice. By default: no signed contract, no fieldwork (organization setting).
Assignment

Assign, and the inspector knows

The dispatcher picks the inspector when setting the appointment. There is nothing to pass along by text message: the inspection appears in the inspector's file, with the address, the client and the contract status.

  • The assigned inspector sees their inspection and opens field mode on the right file
  • The report will carry their name and their RBQ profile, verified administratively by your organization
  • A re-inspection created from an action stays linked to the original file
  • The dispatcher, assistant and accounting roles come with the Team plan

Frequently asked questions

Can my client book their own inspection online?

No, online booking by the client is not offered today. The request comes in by phone, by email or through your form; your assistant or you create the file, and everything else follows.

Can we inspect without a signed contract?

By default, no: the "Signed contract required" setting is on for your organization, and field mode stays closed until the CTR contract is signed. The contract is signed by link, from any phone: if the client is on site, they can sign in front of you; once the server has received the signature, field mode opens. A manager (administrator) can change this setting. When it blocks, and how to keep going →

Does the calendar sync with Google Calendar or Outlook?

Not yet. Sync is planned, with no announced date. See integrations →

Can I see who is available before assigning?

Not today. The calendar assigns one inspector per inspection; the availability, workload and conflict view is planned. In the meantime, the shared calendar shows everyone's appointments.

We are several inspectors. Which plan do we need?

The shared calendar, the roles (dispatcher, assistant, accounting) and centralized administration come with the Team plan, for up to five inspectors. See pricing →

How is a re-inspection scheduled?

From the corrective action that calls for it. The re-inspection stays linked to the action and to the original file, with its own photos and its signed report. Actions & Maintenance →
